Hi. My Name is Dr. Marika Zoll.
Yep, that is me to the left. Hiding behind my glasses.
I have more wrinkles than my daughter in the middle and a few less than my mom on the right. I am a 50 year old woman that is very aware of how I am aging. I don’t know if it is entirely because I am hyper critical from all my years of modeling, or if it might just be a natural progression in life, being a woman in America, exposed to the media and the ideals of society. Sure, aging is going to happen. But I believe it is not entirely up to genes and nature. There are steps we can take with the health of our skin to produce a better result than if we didn’t do anything and if we smoked and drank and didn’t sleep enough.
It all matters. Sleep is more important that you might realize. Do enough of that and you will have half the battle won. this means a minimum of 7.5 hours per night. Any lost needs to be made up. Then, a healthy diet that includs plenty of liquids, will also encourage healthier skin.
But what should you put on your skin?
This site is a collection of information that I hope will educate you and assist you in making wise choices for your skin, which is aging by the way. And did you know it happens at a faster rate as we age. Not fair, but true.
